The Mannings of CT

Hello all and welcome to the Manning Family Blog. This is Amy writing from our newish house in Southeastern CT. As I sit here writing I am officially one day over my due date with our first baby. Brian and I are trying to wait patiently. but as I resemble Jabba the Hutt in measurements and demeanor more and more each day we are getting a bit anxious to meet our little monster. While I have not news of my own and am going absolutely stir crazy I thought I'd take the time to update everyone on other peoples news - how do you like them apples. Featured in today's update all baby's born, vows taken and other exciting events (remember I live in back woods CT now so "exciting" is subject to interpretation)

Baby news:

Brings little sister Joyanne and her strapping husband Ben (and ladies by strapping I mean 6'7'' professional athlete, hubba, hubba) just welcomed their first baby girl to the family on September 19th. Grace Marea Gissing is her name and she is adorable - pictures attached. Mom and baby are doing very well and will be joining Dad and his winning rugby team in Italy in early October.

Heather (West) Dyer and her hubby Gray also welcomed a little girl Lucy in September. They look great and have a blog of their own so don't take my word for it, take a peek at the pictures and wish them good luck. Also, we heard through the Mattapoisett grape vine that Grandma West took a tumble and we wish her speedy recovery.

Lisa and Andrew are still waiting on their second baby (little sibling to Daniel aged 2) but we should have news on them in late October.


Wedding Bells:
Tracye and Mike tied the knot in late August in DC and as you can imagine it was a beautiful occasion.
